Only Latest is a free Chrome add-on developed by shinmai that aims to keep you updated with the latest tweets on your Twitter timeline. This add-on is specifically designed to prevent you from seeing the "Top Tweets" and always show you the most recent tweets instead.
When you load the Twitter home page, Only Latest checks a data property on the "Sparkle" button at the top of the timeline to determine if you are viewing "Top Tweets" or "Latest." If it detects that you are on "Top Tweets," it will automatically open the menu and click the link to switch back to "Latest."
It's important to note that Only Latest only runs on actual page-loads, so if you navigate around twitter.com and somehow end up on "Top Tweets," the add-on won't kick in. Additionally, this add-on only works locally and is not synchronized across devices.
With Only Latest, you can ensure that you always have access to the most recent tweets on your Twitter timeline, giving you the most up-to-date information at all times.
